With all this negativity around thanks to, well, everything, I feel we need to have positive things right now, so following Kevin Owens's example, I'd like to have a thread where we post positive things that we in Rowdy Ringsports can use to get us through our days.

To start, I'll post the twitter thread that is the inspiration for this thread:

Would you be my new best friends?

Wrestling nowadays is more accessible than ever and there is so much entertaining and quality matches/shows etc from a wide variety of promotions all doing their own thing, to the point I feel guilty over how much stuff I actually DON'T watch. We're blessed to have so much access to such an incredible depth and breadth of this ridiculous, stupid but goddamn fun form of entertainment.

Kota Ibushi has made it his mission in life to moonsault off of every surface, vehicle, bridge, everything imaginable and is amazing for it.

Shows like the empty arena smackdown give us a good idea of how well wrestlers can improvise and put on a great show with a "less is more" mentality. Wrestling as a whole seems to be swinging back to the less scripted style and I'm very happy for it.

We live in a time where practically every pro wrestling match is available at your fingertips. I'm going to use the quarantine time to expand my horizons and watch more of the art form that I love

There are a lot of things I enjoy about Big Show, chief among them are those moments when he's just a total goof. Like the smile on his face when he used a literal kitchen sink as a weapon

4:40 if it doesn't cue.

It's the absolute dweebiest thing, but last night's Dynamite did a huge amount to give me hope. In a tough situation they found a way of doing something that was fun and different. It did more than divert me, it made me feel like things would still be possible. Like the world would come back.

I agree with this 100%.

It wasn't just a good episode given the circumstances, it was a good episode in general. I'm excited to see the future of the Dark Order, I'm excited for Matt Hardy, I'm excited for Blood and Guts to finally happen.

On a basic level I think it was just wonderful to see a bunch of passionate people get together and tackle an obstacle with all the talent and love in their hearts. It gives us hope that grander problems can be solved similarly.

True.

That and all of the upcoming audience-free shows online. I expect that they'll be taking cues from what AEW did last night.

Also agreeing with this. With sports and most of the content I follow on hiatus or being COVID-related now, it was such a relief to have something "normal" and fun.
