Yeah +1 for linear pattern, if you need to vary along any particular axis you can use the Vary Pattern command for particular cases.

Fold/unfold is awesome, and I was definitely in vacation mode for not thinking about that. If you do features in the flat pattern, it won’t show up when folded. You can also use unfold/fold for making a slot or stamp that wraps around a bend.

Yeah fold/unfold is like a cheat code once you learn about it, just make sure to double check it doesn't create weird edges that are physically impossible to manufacture.
