Well thanks to the 30 or so posters that posted itt during this tour, it was definitely memorable in its own way. It was definitely the best of times, the worst of times.

Serious question from a casual fan (who always really enjoys NJPW events but just doesn’t want to add another thing to closely follow): What generally happens when someone actually gets injured? Do they get whisked out of there ASAP? How can you tell? E: Hell yeah! Having an ice cold ZIMA! Dr.Radical fucked around with this message at 12:28 on Oct 21, 2021 |

Yeah, it was a far quieter G1 thread than usual but I still enjoyed posting with you all and watching an (often surprisingly) enjoyable tournament, sadly bookended by horrible accidents on the first and last night. But also Shibata is (maybe?) back!

Glad to post with y’all this month. I am happy I only missed one live and only fell asleep during one main event. It was definitely good to have people here to enjoy the highs and lows.

Okada's argument is that Ibushi was the real champion and he beat him and he wants the V4 title. I guess he doesn't recognise Shingo or the world heavyweight title?

Two major players injured along the way and we just ended up with Okada as the winner. Yikes at this G1 in hindsight

If Okada wills it, let it be so Edit: This was about Okada wanting the old belt back, not Naito and Ibushi being injured!

Okada was who I predicted to win and I don't think Ibushi's injury changed the intended result of the match: I'm all about Okada being back on top of the roster.
