Ohtani will get an IWGP title shot for some reason at the Chono 25th show next month. He faces the winner of Nakamura vs Makabe. Which makes me think Makabe wins there, because Nakamura vs Ohtani wouldn't make kayfabe sense (though it might own).

Daichi Hashimoto~! Ditch it says he did a kickboxing thing at Zero1's Hashimoto Tribute Show. Is he going to kick box or is this kid gonna do pro wres or do we not know~?

At his age it's a lot more reasonable to do a kickboxing exhibition than a wrestling match. Colby Corino has called him out, but it'll be a few years before that has any chance to happen.

Went to the Misawa memorial NOAH show in Osaka today(results are here), it was loving awesome other than the 20-minute Kamen Rider promotion show in the middle of it (they gave some excuse about Misawa having been a fan or something but UGH). And I had to leave early for work so I missed the last couple of matches If it wasn't for loving Kamen Rider and the children's karate league asking for our support I could've seen the main event. It must've been sweet cause as I was leaving the arena the crowd was flipping out The 2nd match, Ogawa & Ricky Marvin vs. Aoyagi & Hirayanagi, was basically "everybody gets hit in the nuts a zillion times" ...in a GOOD way. That was my first "real" Japanese wrestling show, since I'd only been to HUSTLE & a WWE Budokan show before, I think I'm gonna have to start budgeting to go more often. And next time I gotta remember to bring my loving camera

You have to remember that Tanaka is 36 and debuted in FMW in 1993. His body was pretty scarred (and I don't just mean the forehead) in the late 90s. So while his forehead may be bad (it really isn't that bad when you consider the poo poo he did for nearly a decade) at least the rest of him looks better.
