It could definitely make for a cool prequel series. It'll be like Caprica was to  , only set even more generations back in time. Or like the reverse of TLA and Korra (which was prequel first and then the sequel set several generations later).

"An ewte" becomes "newt"; "an ekename" becomes "a nickname". It happens the other way as well, "a naedder" becomes "an adder"; "a napron" becomes "an apron"; "une norenge" becomes "une orenge" in French, which is why call the fruit an orange rather than a norange.
