It was goofy and still kind of messed up in the same vein as the original, and even if some characters had received a much needed redesign the show stayed true to the original. Not like the RE:Cyborg anime which just looks like someone REALLY wanted to make a GitS movie but only could afford the Cyborg 009 license. Apparently there was a 60s show as well!
