We're running a Pathfinder(loose-ish rules) homebrew setting pretty much straddling the line between funny and serious. We're very much a beer and snacks type group but I'd ideally like to have an environment where we could have some dramatic elements mixed in between ridiculous poo poo. Figure we go out and grab some beers/hang a night before we play to see if everyone gets along before we jump in to sessions. We also play a good amount of board games, smash, and various pc stuff if that's your deal too.

As far as RPGs go, I've recently been playing a lot of Indie-ish stuff (FATE, Dungeon World, etc.), but have no objections to more traditional stuff (I played in a bunch of Pathfinder and 4E games in Grad School).

I'm looking for 1, possibly 2 more players to round out the group. I'm going for about 4 regularly attending players. Game - Dungeons and Dragons 5e. Currently 3rd level. This is a character driven game where you are encouraged to have short term and long term goals for your character and then pursue them in the setting. Character backstories and goals are taken into account in the overall plot. Before starting we'll all sit down together to learn about your character and try to fit his/her motivations into the campaign. We're also planning on running occasional one shots of other roleplaying systems and settings to try them out. These one shots generally happen after campaign milestones and no more than once per month. So far the one shot candidate list is: Savage Worlds, Fate, Cosmic Patrol, Lasers and Feelings, Everyone is John. You'd be welcome to suggest other systems as well. We're looking for quality roleplayers. So we'd like to play with you for about 3 sessions then have a secret ballot vote. The vote must be unanimous to continue playing with us. This is highly subjective, but in general if you can get along with everyone and you're not That Guy you should be fine (we're pretty easy going guys). 21+ only please. The campaigns could possibly have adult themes and we occasionally have alcohol at the table too. Minors present would add a complication we'd rather not have to deal with. I have the remnants of a group, mainly myself and one other, maybe two although one of them has a pretty restrictive schedule. What are you willing to play? Just about anything. I'm personally a little burned out on d20 as a system and fantasy as a genre, so I'm trying to steer clear of those, but, I mean, I'd play them if that's what's available. I like Shadowrun, big fan of Mongoose Traveller, been dying to play The Void or any other Mythos game. NWod. Apocalypse World. Anything produced by Fantasy Flight Games. We (myself and my +1) are also pretty into Twilight Imperium and Arkham Horror, although we only own the former. I am pretty sure that we'd be into trying out other board games as well. So, like I said, just about anything. It probably bears mentioning that I work in forestry and am in the field more or less Monday through Friday, so any games during the workweek are kind of a no go for me because I am likely somewhere in the bush. This will become less of an issue as the year goes on and it gets inconvenient to camp onsite, though. Looking to start a group to play a bunch of Japanese RPG systems I brought back with me. The plan is for the group to meet once a month and play a one-shot in a system they pick from the ones I have. I'll need a month each time to translate the character creation bits and enough stuff to give to the players for them to be able to play the system (though most of the actual rules and mechanics I'll just explain verbally). If the group really likes a system we can start a campaign in it and meet more frequently.
