I got the Batmobile, AT-ST, and a Ninjago and Nexo Knights sets even though I have no idea what they're even about but they looked so absurd I had to try them out.

I started building the Batmobile, but made a simple mistake very early on that required I restart the entire thing, so I switched over to the AT-ST and built that

Finished my Saturn today. Pretty remarkable how much interior structure there is that will never be seen, a bit like the Technic Porsche.

I'm having a very real display problem. I'm out of space, and my shelves are looking way too cluttered.

That's true though, it doesn't hit regular retail until August, until then it's only available at the Lego Online Store, the Discovery Center in Melbourne, the Lego Store in Dreamworld

OK, thanks for correcting me. Lucky I didn't be a dick to the staff in the store and went along with it.

Nah zuckuss instead of IG-88 imo. That dengar set sucked and I wasn't paying $40 just to get him. Minus the head print you could just build IG-88 from spare parts.

I'm not complaining though because it's still the coolest battle pack ever. Had to swap those dumb guns out right away though.

I suppose that's true. My only other complaint is that Bossk's legs aren't dual-molded, but otherwise it's a great set. I like the current trend of filling each wave with $15-30 sets full of formerly rare/uncommon minifigs.

It's at least cool that all 4 have some sort of appeal on their own, not even taking account that it's a pretty desirable group to have together. Dengar was in a set I didn't want recently, 4 LOM is brand new for the set I believe, Bossk was exclusive to one of the most expensive sets ever, no idea the last time IG-88 was in a set.

It's just a shame they didn't go all the way and add Zuckuss for the full group since Boba Fett isn't a big deal to get ahold of elsewhere. I'd have gladly bought a slightly bigger set to get all 5 of them.

Was re-assembling some sets that I had in storage, and that mos eisley set from a few years back is really top notch. Fun build, neat building with cool play features, nice landspeeder, dewback, and an absolutely great selection of figures. Iirc it wasn't even that pricey. Really cool set that I'm glad I picked up.

It does slot in, just not too well. Try folding that little flippy lid bit down while the tank's unhooked form the car part, it goes down farther without the car in the way. Then put the plane on and lift the lid up and it'll slot in better.

My rocket got left on the doorstop without a signature on a package from lego marked signature required, is it wrong to say i never got it and try to get another one?

It's a really cool set, though I do have some minor gripes

The second stage is like 2x more sturdy than the first stage, feels like they tried to cut down on part count and the first stage was the victim of this.
The first stage rocket bells aren't that solidly connected so even on a hard floor (and especially a soft floor) it wobbles.
The 3rd stage + csm + launch escape balance point is the black stripe at the top with the protrusions, so it doesn't sit nicely in the cradle.

I talked to an Amazon delivery guy once who said that a customer can claim he didn't deliver their package, with no proof, and he gets penalized. If it happens 5 times, the driver gets fired.

So maybe don't potentially impact someones livelihood to get a second toy space ship.

Well, of course I know him.

So piece counts and prices for the Last Jedi sets have been posted on a german retailer site:

quote:

75176 - 294 pieces – €39.99
75177 – 554 pieces - €59.99
75179 – 630 pieces - €79.99
75187 UCS BB-8 - 1016 pieces - €99.99
75188 Resistance Bomber – 778 pieces - €109.99
75189 First Order Heavy Assault Walker - 1376 pieces – €139.99
75190 First Order Star Destroyer - 1416 pieces – €149.99
75526 – 94 pieces - €19.99
75528 – 85 pieces - €24.99
75529 – 92 pieces - €24.99
75530 – 179 pieces - €34.99

Bottom four are most likely the buildable figures. My guess would be either Luke/Rey on Ach-To or Finn/bad guys on Canto Bight playsets for 75176, the new A-Wing for 75177, and Kylo's TIE for 75179.
