Frankly, it looks more like something from the Earth Defense Force series, which certainly fit the description of "B-grade games".

I had to watch that in English class. The only thing I remember is Hilary Swank asking her class (which is all black kids except for one white kid) if they know what the Holocaust is. Only the white kid raises his hand and then it cuts to Swank looking horrified or something.

I like how the tag line seems to be warning people that the movie is poo poo and that they shouldn't go to it.

I was hesitant at first about the Ninjago movie, having seen a good bit of the television series and seeing how it is aggressively for 6 year olds, but the trailer seems like it's going to be ignoring the series completely, for the better.
