Are anti-apartheid Israelis allowed to leave? I know the US tries to funnel as many Jews and sundry white supremacists as it possibly can right over there, but I'm wondering if it's any easier to leave in protest than it is to leave the US.

the security theater thing is also why the IDF makes sure to always, always bomb Gaza whenever a rocket is detected. it doesn't matter that they've been doing it for years and years and it's never accomplished anything. what matters is that they can announce to the press that Hamas fired X rockets and that the IDF responded by blowing up X+1 Hamas military installations, even though in reality the IDF is just blowing up random buildings so people on the Israeli side of the border can hear the explosions and feel secure that something is being done for example, on the 9th, Hamas launched 150-180 rockets, and in return the IDF claimed to have blown up 140-150 Hamas military sites. which is of course absurd. the trick is to read closely into their statements. sometimes they give away a few too many details. for example, when they bragged about how they'd blown up some weapons factories, they showed aerial photos of one of them as an example, and said that the factory had been manufacturing concrete for the ~terror tunnels~. in other words, it was just an ordinary concrete manufacturer, but because Israel categorizes concrete as a "weapon" for blockade purposes, they used that to dub it a "weapons factory". likewise, whenever the IDF statement talks about blowing up "terror training grounds" and mentions that there were few casualties because the IDF was focused on blowing up "terror infrastructure", that means they couldn't actually find anything to bomb and just attacked open fields to pad the numbers and reach their quota

It's not like the Nazi's where they thought all Jewish people had to die, the israelis just want the Arabs gone so they can make greater israel. i dont rrally get why they dont let them leave. Is Gaza just that useful/profitable as a weapons testing lab?

So Israel has been trying to figure out some stupid way to allow Gaza to have a port while keeping their prison blockage thing going. The solution is Cyprus hosts some kind of Gaza port where stuff gets checked and then only from there is allowed to go to Gaza. Israel being so unused to not being a raging control freak rear end in a top hat has already pissed off any possible Cypriot cooperation by STILL insisting they control and police this port rather than let the Cypriots do it themselves in their, y'know, own territory. Cyprus being a country which has half of itself essentially militarily occupied by Turkey, and two sizable permanent Guantanamo style British bases on the remainder.... ....you don't insist they surrender sovereignty and not expect them to get really pissed off. So yeah Israel is successfully angering the only normal international relation they have in their neighborhood because they just can't loving help themselves.
