I think it's incredibly brave of the author to kill Aizawa off in the spin-off manga as a way to retcon him out of existence after hearing about how much his quirk limits the plot.

The one thing that I've discovered reading Bort and Vigilantes: I like monthlies FAR better than I do weeklies. The writing is better, the pacing is better, the lives of the production involved seems better.... I would love for Horikoshi to go monthly instead of burning out like Kubo.

I recommend a lot of other stuff in the magazine really. Dr. Stone is good, but so is Kimetsu No Yaiba, Jujutsu Kaisen, Act-Age, etc.
