He's shy. Literally the only cat I've ever seen who resisted getting OUT of the carrier once we got home. He's sleeping now though in his bed.  The breeder thinks he's going to be enormous. She showed me his half brother who was about 12 months old. 9-10kg already with another 12-18 months of growing to go.
