Clipperton posted:https://twitter.com/Variety/status/1090315507671203840 It could probably be done in make-up and such, but it doesn't hurt that they don't have to do it that way. Looking more at the pictures in that tweet, it also looks like Timothee Chalamet has fuller lips than Oscar Isaac, I think? Fits well with how the characters are described in the books. Oscar Isaac deserves a good role atm, after being bludgeoned by Star Wars and XMen I think he can pull off Leto. He's getting older, and he's got that sort of intangible nobility down pat, mysterious lineage, I dunno...I'm talking out my rear end. He's just a great actor.

I think he is a believable bullfighter, at least

He hammed it up pretty well as King John in the 2010 Robin Hood.

I really enjoyed the first two books in the series. Haven't read the third but for one, the second book would be the better movie, but visually it's just gorgeous and it really seemed to reflect my mental state 1:1 like the shimmer was my mind at the point i first saw it. So it's probably better to me than most would find

Yeah, Annihilation was outstanding, can't believe I forgot about his minor role in that. I wish I had read the book first, both are really good. I loved the way it was shot, everything about it had this really dreamlike quality. EDIT for more Inside Llewyn Davis appreciation. UH-OH!!! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lSwO-k-RqNA

He'd be a better Duncan in that he fits the description of curly-dark-hair and also crazy fuckin attractive and charismatic. But he'll still make a pretty good Leto.

Even if he's in a questionable movie, he's enjoying to watch. I'd highly recommend Ex Machina, in my opinion it's his best. I just recently watched the Bourne Legacy with my son. It's a shame that did so bad (it wasn't awful, but wasn't great) because you never saw Isaac's body, so it would have been logical had it done well that his would have been the sequel. so are they going to put skarsgard in a fat suit or have a thin(nish) baron i'd prefer a thin baron tbh

Have you not seen the incredible Mamma Mia! Here We Go Again scene with Skarsgård in a fat suit? I'm pretty sure it's why he got cast.

And in fact it would be wrong to cast a fat man as the Baron. He should not move like a fat man, due to the suspensors. In fact they should use the lightest possible material to fill the bulk. If the audience does a double take, then job well done.

I don't care who plays the Baron in the new film. Ian McNeice knocked that role so far out of the park in the miniseries they are still looking for the ball.
