 I’ve gotten used to VCR being a disgusting rear end in a top hat, but I felt my stomach drop when I saw how many likes it had gotten. Something I appreciate about this forum is how easy it makes it to forget how rampant homophobia still is in the wrestling community. Kenny has been really important to me as a bisexual wrestling fan. Ever since he became prominent in the States I’ve felt more comfortable going to shows, and more comfortable being myself at those shows. As a bi guy you get pretty used to casual emasculation by necessity, so comments like Cornette and Brian Last’s “jazz hands, Kenny Olivier” poo poo is mostly water off my back at this point. But then there’s stuff like this, or Cornette baselessly accusing Kenny of grooming Riho. There’s a non-significant portion of wrestling fans that don’t just dislike Kenny Omega, they view him as some kind of monster. They want him to be a pedophile, they’re eager for it to be true. And they want him to die from the loving gay plague. I just don’t understand why. Anyway, I’m really thankful for this dead gay forum about this dumb gay sport.
