Mikazuki sure didn't.

Mikazuki can never make his own Gunpla.

Or he'd get so good at controlling a MS that he'd build it by borrowing Gusion's giant nippers, Barbato's full-sized hands, and the salvaged mobile armor exacto-tail.

I love these "escalating mode photoshoots" you do. My fav from this one is the mech with the giant fuckoff shoulder cannons and like the little Red Cross dude for a head. STAND STILL CITIZEN, I'M A DOCTOR, I'M HERE TO HELP YOU.
Also I can barely stop loving around with the Transformers and Gunpla I keep around me- I can't imagine having one of these dudes with like ten modes.

Thank you! I really like making them too, it's a lot of fun. I've considered doing video reviews of them because outside of a couple of the big ones there really isn't much discussion of them in the english-speaking part of the internet. That said though i don't have the equipment necessary and I'm not sure how many would actually be interested in watching something like that so rn it's just a "maybe" kinda thing. All that aside though, I actually got 2 Diaclones in the mail and this was only one of them, here's the other one:

I mean, I actually kinda like this line of kits but wtf are they doing with all of these weird lady robot designs. Stop. Please. :sigh:

Most Gundams already have a narrow waist, flaring hips, and a skirt. So when they say that all those standard Gundams are men, and then introduce some specifically female Gundams, they only have so many options for making that clear

Anyone have an RG Strike left leg they don't need anymore and will sell to me for $5? I got mad at calf armor issues and in my haste/rage to disassemble, I snapped the upper thigh front armor off and it appears to be unfixable. The peg is stuck in the socket. I may try JB Weld because cement failed, but I feel like that won't do the trick.

The break happened at a little T-shaped peg that holds the armor into an equally T-shaped socket. The break occurred diagonally through the cross-section of the T. I don't think a metal rod would have enough space to actually get in there - the break itself was clean so if JB-weld actually holds, it should hopefully do the trick for the future.

Has anyone in the thread built any of the Frame Arms Tiger kits? I'm currently building the head and one of the parts listed says "head parts" without a sprue number. Struggling to locate it in the other sprues.

Hell yeah Destroids.

With all that surface detail, nobody would blame you for masking them out, but I think the M decals turned out quite well.

I had this issue with a Koto Eva kit. Turned out the head parts were pre-painted and in a separate tiny bag and not on a sprue

I've heard good things about that kit, namely the lack of polycaps and how solid it feels for a RE/100.

I still feel like we're overdue for a 3.0/Origin MG Zaku II.

From looking on 1999.co.jp that part is in the same sprue bag as the f and k sprues in a little side bag.

Thats whats up!
So glad I'm not the only one hooked on these 30mm kits. I have never been a fan of smaller kits, but something about these guys has won me over big time. I ran out and bought two kits Sunday and have been fighting the urge to get more from Amazon. My hobby shop has them cheaper, but it's too far to drive at the moment.

I just got the new Haropla. For some reason the box cover and text is almost exactly the same as the old basic green Haro. To the point in fact that I'm not sure the store I bought it from realized that it was a new product as it wasn't on the new releases table with the Hello Kitty kits (which I also bought but my wife has claimed).

Overall it's the same size, and proportions as the previous design. The mouth opening gimmick means the side expansion holes are gone though none of the gimmick Haros used them anyway so no big loss. Instead there are 3 holes inside the mouth and the 'ears' have holes by default, much like the Momoharo, which come with plugs to fill the holes for a regular Haro.

Haro haro haro haro. Haro "haro" haro? Haro. Haro haro, haro. Haro (haro) haro haro haro haro haro.

I'm about to undertake a project to update my workspace. I'll probably ask in the normal scale modeling thread, but other than setting up storage that sits under the desktop, any suggestions for miscellaneous thing storage on the cheap? e.g. CA glues, weathering powders/Weathering Master cases, etc.? Already gonna grab a vertical desktop sorter to have sandpaper at a glance by grit rather than in its own drawer.
