I really didn't like WOW as much as I wanted to. The only class that seemed fun to play was the stealth class because you could stack up a sweet alpha strike. Most of their other classes were sustained DPS things where you played the keyboard like a 3rd grade piano recital.

I played WoW from vanilla to Battle for Azeroth. That was over 100 pounds of my life I'll never get back.

The only MMO I ever enjoyed was the 2D flat runescape from way back. Even as a 6th grader there was a ton of social engineering going on to fleece people of their items and it was fun for me and my evil friends in school to grief people.

the most fun i’ve ever had in an mmo was the three whole days i played lord of the rings online, playing warren zevon songs w/ my bagpipes and little else

I saw a ton of people going "Witcher 3 out-Skyrims Skyrim" and "Outer Worlds out-Fallouts Fallout" and I feel like I don't understand the impression most people have of Bethsoft's games

It feels like Tim Cain made some game he wanted to make in 2004 and didn't change anything about it except a decent visual update. to me the way all the areas and loot works it's more like a first person KOTOR but not as gripping. even if you don't like kotor

Outer Worlds was good fun but also pretty simple and didn’t have a huge amount to do away from the main quest. I can’t really see myself playing through it again. Outer Wilds is legitimately one of my favourite games ever, on the other hand

when i beat outer worlds, the ending slides said the only npc companion who has any thought put into them had died even though they didn't, so it didn't show what actually had happened to them in my game. i believe that's fixed so you can't have it happen to you. sorry
