By the time I completed my third degree, the realization dawned on me that, while useful for the rudiments/initial know-how/networking, college leaves you with gently caress-all prep for what the real world will teach you in a week, tops. By the time I got that degree (Music Production & Engineering) in '07, I had been recording bands for the better part of the 00's, and I suddenly realized, while looking kickass on a wall, my degree was basically a glorified certificate.
