For that one, I'd break out the semicolons. Too ambiguous with just commas.

Nah, "Saddam, his sons, Hitler, and Stalin" is pretty easy to parse. It'd work better as "Hitler, Stalin, and Saddam and his sons", though. Keep the subgroup after the and.

There is nothing inherently clearer about using the Oxford comma. The only way to actually avoid ambiguity in all cases is to read your sentence back and make sure you didn't say something dumb.

The 3rd one wouldn't parse because common English rules dictate that two nouns followed by a third are a list. That phrasing would parse if you used an em dash: "We invited the stripper--JFK--and Stalin." Otherwise the overwhelming majority of English readers would parse the clause as referencing three separate individuals.

The 4th one doesn't parse at all in common English. I've literally never seen anyone write a clause that way. Ever. Even on the internet where bad grammar used to be both common and a point of adolescent pride.

And some rando on Tumblr best known for contributing to Reno 911: Miami is not going to suddenly tell me otherwise.

the only important rule in English is to ignore when people tell you there are definite rules like 99% of the time

I'm pretty sure the grammatical rule is you have to start with proper nouns then common nouns, unless there's a relation. So it would "JFK, Stalin, and the stripper/s" and "Gary, his sister, and the clown".
