I think you’ll all find Oklahoma is one of the worst places in America, while Dallas is still in Texas and therefore not so bad.

Ballot initiatives work when they are allowed. I’d bet if statewide legalization was on even the midterm ballot it would get over 55%. Unfortunately we don’t do that here.

North Texas is basically South Oklahoma, which is the worst. i say swears online posted:we have local ordinances that the state leg allows to pass before they're overridden Yeah, this. I can't even get excited about progressive local ordinances anymore. I miss Austin's bag ban. My house is overtaken with them again, and I'm given them even when I bring my own bag.

Driving into Paris has a billboard that says "Paris, TX. Always a great idea!" Then we read the wiki on the public lynchings that were commonplace and the awful race relations and I'm not so sure that's accurate signage It does however have one of the tackiest and tasteless war memorials I’ve ever seen. There is also a confederate statue outside the court house, champions of “the lost cause”. Paris isn’t the most race friendly place. And according to my one family member still there not much into face masks. She did mention they had a very small group turn up in support of BLM, so slight progress I guess.
