Yes but what if it's rotated just slightly and every time you press the spacebar the whole thing rocks a tiny bit. :colbert:

Lol I loved this before and I love it now.

My current desk lego are kinda shoved aside at the moment, but I have the Brick Headz Mando+Baby Yoda, the NASA Girl CMF, the Drone pilot CMF, and the 30611 R2-D2.
95% of my stuff is in my office at work which I haven't seen since July when I dropped off the UCS Falcon. Maybe someday I can visit the collection safely again. :sigh:

11 hours 15 minutes until I order a whole bunch of poo poo for double points, though! :peanut:

Oh, I also have 2 4x4x4 pillars that are elevating my laptop's back end to raise the screen and allow me the real estate for a full sized keyboard.

For trying to find a particular type of LEGO set I think BrickSet is a lot more useful than BrickLink. You can browse by tag, and they have decent image galleries for most sets:

https://brickset.com/sets/tag-Moped
https://brickset.com/sets/tag-Motorcycle

If you found something there that worked then you could look up the set number on BrickLink to buy it. Unfortunately I don't know anything about MOCs so I can't help you on that end.

Oh, I missed this post, sorry. Good places to look for MOCs for sale are BuildaMOC and Creations For Charity (for a complete set with instructions + pieces), or for just the instructions but a much greater variety, Rebrickable or Brickvault come to mind. You can also find Stud.io files and sometimes instructions at Bricklink.

Honestly, I'm not finding too much along the lines of what you're after, but this is nice. This is even further off, but what a great build.

I called my local store and they set aside an ecto and nutcracker for me. They are not allowed to set aside the GWPs but I will be there at opening time and should get both.
When I asked when to come to avoid the crowds she said to come early because she can tell from the number of calls that it will be crammed at noon. Didn't sound too happy and was glad when I said I will come at store opening, hop in, grab my stuff and be on my way.

She also said next weekend is going to be murder "when the... err... the new set releases". I am curious now, it sounded like she wasn't allowed to say the set's name yet and nearly let it slip. I wonder if there is secret set...

Isn't that when the coliseum releases? (Although it was announced, so they wouldn't really have a reason to be secretive?)

I'm probably ordering the Bugatti once double points goes live... I'm super tempted to order the Ecto-1 as well, but it's back-ordered, so I don't know if I'd actually get the double points, and also, that's a lot to spend at once. (I should probably just save it for the next time there's some 100$+ GWP)

Can you use the store points for anything? So far it only seems to be for Legoland tickets.

They’re probably not gonna go on sale but I wanna wait on buying the Ecto/Batmobile just in case they have some sort of cool freebie next weekend.

You can use points for discounts. 10k points is 100$. (You can also do 5/20/50 - the points are linear.)

Nice!

So, something I've been wondering about your camera setup. Do you think it'd be possible to get similar results with a cell phone camera or do you think the dslr is pretty essential? I have been able to get ok pictures of my MOCs but usually no where near the quality I am hoping for. With the smaller stuff I use a cheap lightbox and those tend to come out allright, although I don't think it's nearly as good as your glass setup. I find bigger mocs almost impossible to photograph well.

I think a good cell phone camera could get really nice results. Honestly, they've come such a long way. I don't know, though! My phone is quite old, so I can't really accurately test how well my setup would work with one. I feel like I rely on the tripod more than anything since I shoot with a pretty long shutter speed and a high exposure.
