Hey y'all, came back to watching wrestling for the first time in like 7 months. Some things happened that took me out of watching it for awhile but I think I'm gonna start up again.

Unlike WWE I kind of feel like catching up on what I've missed in AEW since then. The last stuff I remember watching was shortly after Brodie Lee and Matt Hardy came on board, I think it was the week before Moxley was supposed to defend his title against Hager.

What's worth going back and trying to catch up on since then? I heard the Moxley/Omega match on 12/2 was bangin' so I think I'll start with that show, but what else is worth going out of my way to see?

The full gear ppv was pretty fantastic. FTR and the Young Bucks had an amazing match. The storylines leading into it were fun too - Omega and Hangman had awesome matches in the tournament and a good match at the PPV. Kingston and Moxley had an awesome build to their match on TV.

Other than that it kinda depends how much you want to catch up. I think my favorite shows of the summer were the two weeks of Fight for the Fallen where they basically just did awesome matches on two consecutive shows.

The parking lot brawl with Best Friends vs Santana and Ortiz was must watch.

Mox's whole championship run was pretty great. Skip the match with Hager because it was a complete dud, but all of his other defenses and feuds were pretty compelling. Cody's open challenge matches are great, and they're how two big players in the company right now (Eddie Kingston and Ricky Starks) debuted and got signed. DoN was a good show, standouts being MJF vs. Jungle Boy, the debut in the Casino Ladder Match, Shida vs. Nyla Rose, Mox's defense vs. Brodie Lee, and the Stadium Stampede. All Out was a bit of a dud because of some really unfortunate decision making, though I'd at least watch it for Shida vs. Thunder Rosa and MJF vs. Mox (my personal favorite of his defenses). Full Gear was fantastic, definitely watch that. Kenny and Hangman had a great run with the tag belts and pretty much all those defenses are worth tracking down. Best Friends had a great feud with Santana and Ortiz that culminated in a really good parking lot fight.

The match is so much better if you've watched Cody's run with the TNT title beforehand with all the subtle foreshadowing.

Watch all the Road To's and the PPV's/Dynamites they lead into for the period you missed. I think that should mostly cover it.

I like Sammy G. I'm not trying to like reach for a pitchfork or anything. I know that endorsements aren't always easy to get. But does Sammy still promote Bang?

I knew that the CEO was a big Trump donor, but if they're involved with TPUSA, they're lovely in ways that I did not previously know.

Oh gently caress yeah there was AEW posting beyond the schedule for Wednesday. Yeah aside from him having a segment where he chasing down Bang energy drink in his vlog (which he hasn't really done since the pandemic started that I can recall really) he doesn't seem to promote Bang anymore than Maki Itoh promotes Monster and gently caress if I think a wrestler is getting paid better than a dedicated social media idiot, even with a good social media game.

All in all I don't get what point you are trying to make? If you are going to split hairs between Trump supporting CEOs and TPUSA supporting CEOs do it in D&D or CSPAM where they presumably have opinions about that. If this is about Sammy taking money from Bang, I don't know if we ever knew if he was taking money from it or not.
