Ive been outside at -30, -40 many times and your breath freezes inside your nose. We tend to have our face covered at those temperatures and you end up building up layers of frost and ice on your scarf. It's when your breath gets forced up into your eyes and your eyelashes freeze together that it starts to get annoying.
