Hey all. I could use some design help. We are going to make some cosmetic changes to our 1931 Denver faux-Tudor home. The interior has been stripped of all charm by previous owners and replaced with 90s ugliness. We want to undo that.

I’m looking for a good source on period fireplace tile (to replace the shower tiles they stuck all over the fireplace). Also a source for reproduction Tudor-style lighting? If you know of any. The Denver Tudor style is heavy on the Spanish/Moroccan influences.

My parents have 4 of the 6x6 tiles in their upstairs bathroom. I just looked up the price, $74 each. Jesus.

while I definitely want a frameless style, that stained maple color isn't actually that bad. I think I will eventually go with something similar or lighter when I do new doors.

We are not sure what we want yet. Mostly the only fireplaces I’ve seen with original tile are in super huge mansions. Our house is not fancy. It probably just had bricks or a smooth plaster finish originally. Can’t tell with the way it’s been updated.
