Mithrun getting pissed and going all in with his powers was incredibly badass, a pity his opponents were 1) an immortal demon and 2) Marcille who I absolutely didn't want to see merked.  Also looks like the finale will be our remaining protagonists and Canaries against Dungeon Master Marcille, Resurrected Farlin v2 and the demon? With hopefully peaceful-ish resolution.

The way the Winged Lion routinely goes from humorous to horrifying to utterly unearthly from panel to panel, every single page, is some incredibly good tone setting. Just some real good "you don't know what you're messin' with" energy radiating off of every bit of interaction between marcille and the winged lion.

It's funny that all this nightmare and the hell that is sure to follow is happening pretty much entirely because the Canaries wanted to stop Laius from being able to freely eat monsters in the dungeon at all costs.

the lion has to be one of the best antagonists i've seen from manga in recent memory. he's so consistently charming and goofy even when he's twelve feet tall and bristling with wings i think part of that is because he doesn't really have anything against the protagonists, even though he's plotting their doom. he thinks they're weird, surprising, even likeable in their way, but most importantly, he thinks they're delicious he basically views them as a bunch of adorable calves that're going to be breaded and covered with tomato sauce by the end of the week

I suppose if the Winged Lion is "infinite" then there's no reason why he can't be all dungeon demons. It would certainly explain how he was responsible for both Thistle and Mithrun's dungeons. Elves may be long lived but not long enough to have been alive before Thistle made his dungeon. Only half-elves seem to live that long.

Kabru and his party probably benefited the most out of all side-characters from Dungeon Meshi bible (at least so far, I have high hopes for Canaries). I didn't consider them very interesting outside of Kabru before, now I want spin-off where they are the main focus.

Next two chapters of the Adventurer's bible are out. This time it's about Mithrun and the canaries. So since Mithrun's dungeon was only 40 years ago(and shortly after that was Utaya) if the demon is a single entity then it can apparently be in multiple places at once.
