I like Sabnock's arc a lot. His moment of most growth just came up in the anime, and it's good to see here that he took the advice seriously.

The manga is extremely good, though the anime does stick really close to it so you may not want to read too far ahead if you prefer to be surprised. Even having read the manga I still get a lot of laughs out of the anime, because they do a great job of fleshing stuff out and bringing the manga to life.

The anime has songs and fleshes out stuff, the manga has better pacing. The first 20-30 chapters have pretty rough art, but it picks up around the point the anime is at currently and has actually gotten quite good.

I was convinced the big reveal of the royal one was that it was a total dump and the demon king was in the misfit group of his time. Would have been on brand for this series. I guess they subverted my subverted expectations by actually making it really nice. Fun little perspective trick I noticed, normal Iruma is dwarfed by the thrown, but evil Iruma fit it perfectly.

I just realized after your observation that Back during the flight test Clara rode on Admodeus the entire time and likely did that cause either her wings are not functional or she just does not have them
