Where we're going, we won't need fries to see

Got a package from far away! I assume the size of box was needed for the sheer amount of stamps :D

This was going to be a photo of the bunting up in the place I normally put butting but there's so much of it I need to find more wall space.
It's fitting as I've a friend who recently did an endurance stream in iRacing on Bathurst and plans to do it again so I'll have it up for then.

Loads of 3D printed racetracks. As this is already going to be a long post I won't list them all as I'm sure everyone here already knows them off by heart. Just like me. Honest.

More Honda goodies including a 3D printed "lithograph" which now lives in my study

It took some doing but I got all my dicks in a row eventually. Haven't had chance to accessorise anyone's tyres with them yet
A tool bit holder in the shape of a mouth is equal parts disturbing and hilarous. Not sure what the counters and dice are for, I didn't notice them mentioned in the note but they are neat.

Literature is always welcome in this house, I've seen and almost bought one of those air fresheners before so I'm glad I didn't get it.
The photo doesn't show up how cool the effect is on the postcard and the other one is very pretty too
The Australian Research & Space Exploration pins are very cool and serious, there is nothing to laugh at there at all
Apparently I now need to aquire an automatic car in order to swap the shifter out for this superiour Pig Balls one

Thank you so much Humphreys for this massive treasure haul!

Woohoo! We are under 24 hours until the Bathurst 1000, so arrived in nick of time! All those tracks indeed have elevation. Pig Balls Shifter is from another thread you may have unfortunately missed that got gold mined.

Glad everything got there safe. I was worried about the painting.

There's a 4th tool in there. It's pretty small and triangular so it might be hidden in the packaging.

It was not porch pirated, but it did get probed by customs!

Effort post coming later tonight but first and foremost, thank you!

Edit: Effortpost time!

A box showed up yesterday:

Hmm, I don't recognize this. ENHANCE:

Thank you Border Patrol, I feel very protected

Slightly fuzzy photo of a letter, click to embiggen:

A coil pack coated with an unfamiliar brown substance, some very German wheel center caps, and a gauge for showing maximum boostu:

Delicious, delicious snacks - we've already broken into the ketchup chips. We can actually get these here but they are noticeably different (and not as good) - thicker cut chips and not as much flavor. Funny enough, a friend brought over some ketchup chips from the Philippines, and those were different yet again, tasting almost exactly like eating a french fry with ketchup.

More delicious snacks that I'm sure will be gone within the week:

And finally a couple of bottles, I'm sure one of which helped prompt the inspection:

My wife is fairly sure she's had the sauce before when visiting family in Minnesota, who probably went across the border to pick some up. I don't need much convincing to get some chicken going.

I poo poo you not, we used up all but the last few drops of our Costco syrup on pancakes this morning. So not only is this perfectly timed, but it looks to be absolutely god-tier. I have no idea where I'll find any of this "snow" to pour it on, though.

Again, thank you Bajaha!

Lots of great stickers here, as well as some coasters and a stubbie holder, will need to get some tool chest decorating done:

Conbook from an old Dragoncon - strangely, we've got a bit of "degrees of separation" going on here, if you attended, as one of my friends was a guest at it.

Mmm, nuts!

OK, this is great, just what I needed, dealing with constant tension clamps is one of the most annoying jobs I encounter:

Lastly, pretty certain these are E30 LCA bushes, so I'm sure I'll manage to put them to good use!

This is awesome, thank you!

Opening the box was easy with an angle grinder with a saw blade on it

I laughed again but what can you do? It's good advice. Some great stickers, delicious candy (honeycomb but with no chance of burning the everloving snot out of yourself), a bills ornament (my wife's family spent some time in Buffalo when she was younger so it's even better), some great old tools and some puzzles. "Tomorrow's Problems" is going in the van somewhere (eventually, hush).

After I got distracted by the puzzles (sorry, they were obviously broken in the mail as they don't immediately come apart).

The tools even came in handy immediately.

Pretty sure that's how they're supposed to work.

Many exciting treats! Looking forward to the hot sauce and the chilli and getting a bit of time over xmas to bake some things from the book!

The weight of the card imediately set alarm bells ringing. I sounds like there was glitter in there. I very carfully opened the envelope but no gltter came out, just a song.

The music did not stop. After 30 minutes or so I got fed up and decided to disassemble it. However my spidey senses were tingling so I did it in the shipping box.

Hah! I'm glad you opened the card. I wanted to write more of an explanation of things but even before you take off the safety "doesn't turn off ever again" part, it still just keeps playing while it's open and I couldn't.

Hopefully the favorite hot sauces and petrol passion picture are self explanatory. The book is from my favorite bakery and I really like some of the recipes so hopefully you can find at least one or two that are good.

The roll of tape is to protect your porch from birds and also you can hang it from a bicycle helmet to protect yourself during magpie season which I understand is like all the other seasons in Australia but it's the birds trying to kill you also instead of just the stuff that crawls and climbs.

Last but not least, those are the smallest pliers I could find. And then some surgical tools that seem like even smaller pliers.

And thank you again!

The little box is super clever. There's four prongs - one on each side - in the inner box and they hold it into the outer box. They slide in and out so if you tilt the box to look in, it seems like they're only there on the bottom side. Which of course you generally don't look in first if you're me. You have to adjust box so none of them are out and it'll come out. Using your new feeler gauges is cheating. Obviously.

KillHour
Oct 28, 2007

It's even more clever when you notice they're counter-weighted so they slide in instead of out when they're on the bottom. This might not make much sense until you realize you're supposed to put it on a flat surface and spin it

Also you have no idea how much of a pain in the rear end it was to get that piece of paper to fit in the box.

The plate too. Not sure how I'm gonna explain having one non Ohio plate in the funniest way possible but I'm open to ideas.

They most certainly are. I had no use for them after I 5 lug swapped so I figured they'd have a good home with you! I have a full set of in box billy yellows sitting here from the same order, before I decided to 5 lug, that I had thought to send you but getting that package across the pond was already....erm, prohibitively expensive as it was. Mine is pretty self explanatory - immigrant families have had a pretty terrible time and just going back to having the government quietly poo poo on them instead of doing it loudly isn't enough. Not to mention, with the combination of climate refugees becoming a thing and the worsening stability problems in Latin America, fighting for legal protections for refugees is more important than ever.
