It is "messed up" in a gentle, tasteful, retro way.

Is there a certain kit you bought to develop your own film?

I used Film Photography Project's C41 kit.

To be honest I damaged that film and the previous film I overheated the chemistry.

Some stuff I developed today that I liked.

You're quite good at turning me on.

I use the unicolor C-41 kit and I bought a sous vide to control the water bath temperature. Considering I can get over 20 rolls from a batch of chems I'm still saving considerable amount of money compared to paying a lab to develop it. Now I just need an E-6 kit....

Got a DSLR about a year ago and have barely used it, but want to start getting into photography a bit more. Went through some of the photos I took last year and found a couple I like.

I think if you made it a ‘thing’ to shoot random small buildings from the same angle that could be a lot of fun.

I think the first one would be much much better without that out of focus element on the left

I shot what I consider my first print-worthy photo 10 years ago today, so I took the raw file and reedited it to see if it would come out any different.

Admiral Bosch

Who is Admiral Aken Bosch, and what is that old scoundrel up to?
Okay I think the chill zone is probably where I want to post these. These are my first shots on film ever, except for disposables as a kid. These are mostly just testing the functionality of the camera and lens together, as I had some worries that they wouldn't quite be in focus due to some manufacturing standards differences that I was reading about online. But they came out (mostly)good!

Camera is a Leica III(no bloody a, b, c, or g) with a Soviet Industar-22 f50/3.5, shooting Ilford HP5.

I keep backyard hens and had to bring one inside for a few days. I was going too fast and she was moving around - I still really like these two but I really wish I had gotten her in focus. I love the morning light that comes in my living room window.

The hens got accidentally locked out of their coop and took turns laying these outside.

Next roll I will be a little more artiste about it, hopefully. Anyway this poo poo's really fun and immensely satisfying.

Nice, your first rolls are always exciting and a bit terrifying. Glad you're having fun with it!

The two chicken pics rule! Coincidentally, HP5 was the second roll of film I ever shot.
