this is an area of downtown minneapolis that has a lot of lofts because they used to be factories (often for flour production) in the 1800s. It looks like it lifts the whole platform up (and presumably further down so it's just a step instead of a platform) into some kind of window surround thing so you have An View, but my main concern is a: leaving a limb dangling over the edge so it gets cleaved off and b: getting trapped up there like some technothriller version of The Exterminating Angel.
