I think Chrono Cross might do BETTER with younger people that are not personally offended by how it treats some elements from Chrono Trigger.

I had let myself get too excited at those Chrono Cross rumors. I wasn't expecting an actual remake, but this looks more like a re-release than a remaster. Oh well, I'll buy it just for the enhanced soundtrack. Live A Live in HD2D looks incredible. Makes me wish we got that from the FF Pixel remasters.

Chrono Cross remake comes with an English translation of Radical Dreamers, which is pretty big. Also remakes of the first two Front Mission games are confirmed. Also loving LIVE A LIVE is getting a 2DHD treatment of all things. Switch Direct owned if you don't mind the lack of FFPR announcements.

No FFT port (  )or PR ports but hey, it was still a bountiful harvest for Square RPG fans with this Direct. Chrono Cross + Radical Dreamers, and Front Mission 1/2 and Live A Live remakes.

Reddit says it's coming to all platforms, including Steam. I'll hold off for that in hopes of mods. With this announcement I hope somebody (not me) makes a Chrono Cross thread. I'd be all over that, I just hate writing these super informative OP's

So far, we've gotten / are getting English versions of Romancing SaGa 2 and 3, Seiken Densetsu 3, Front Mission 1 and 2, and Live a Live, plus remasters of SaGa Frontier, Legend of Mana, and Chrono Cross. Amazing.
