I suppose its only metal adjacent, but the new Blood Incantation album came out and and its pretty cool in a very deliberate Tangerine Dream / Popol Vuh kind of way. No riffs but very nice spacey sounds.

I've really been in a mood for doom with religious overtones lately. Things like: Candlemass - Samarithan Griftegård - A Beam in the Eye of the Lord Pallbearer - A Plea for Understanding In fact if anyone has any recs that match the vibes of these tracks I'd love to hear them.

It's me, I am the one liking the new Ghost song, cause it reminds me of mummy dust in a way and I like the experimentation. That being said, it's probably one of the weaker songs I've heard thus far from the new album.
