As a fan of architectural disasters, I'm not sure how I was never made aware of Dean Gardens, but it sure is a trip: https://twitter.com/EvanCollins90/status/1506832724564213767 At the end of the thread is an appropriately absurd video tour. Apparently it was designed by Larry Dean's 21-year-old son for his parents, who divorced shortly after the house was completed and it was built so shittily that it was eventually just torn down and replaced with a suburb.

The fact that it is a rainfall shower but the temperature controls are so far away you'd have to leave the rainfall to change the temp makes me very mad.

What drives me nuts is that shower is completely open and therefore always cold. Maybe rich people heat the entire room before showers, but my broke rear end understands that a shower is supposed heat the air in the enclosed area.

I’d like to request pics and inspiration of interior design that includes tables or shelves or desks made with dark wood and black metal. Seems rare these days and most stuff I find is pushed heavily into like, weird ultra dark spaces.

I'm the television set with no facing seats. That lamp hell of reminds me of the fixed lamps in my great aunt's old apartment from the mid-1950s. Wouldn't mind that one in my kitchen. e: Actually the lay-out of the kitchen is pretty much the same, too, except mirrored

yeah that works pretty well. i have no idea how rug sizing works for sectionals, but obviously you can' treally extend beyond the far side much because of the window. it would definitely work if you wanted to draw more attention upwards, like on the wall. is the rug greenish? do you know the wall color?

It looks like the faucet was installed in the overflow hole so it's weirdly low and impractical for filling the tub. And there's no shower curtain to allow for an actual shower, so how do you use it?
