Usually their styling doesn't have that solid of a miss for me, it'll be more of a "not to my taste but looks good". Some of the cgi in the video seems to be just enough worse than other cgi in the video that my brain went "oh thats all cgi there", which is too bad since I didn't get that feeling from their other cgi heavy videos. Still nothing *bad*, just enough that I noticed.

The skunk hair definitely isn't my thing either, and I also go against the popular opinion and say Siyeon's bangs aren't my favorite styling for her. Hair is temporary though! I am continually confused about people thinking Dreamcatcher is going "more mainstream" because Maison definitely sounds like their normal style to me. Love it, too! I think some fans have a weird expectation they are going to go full-rear end Rammstein or Slayer and, I mean ... they're still kpop? The video was a bit dodgy in the CGI department but it's not enough to ruin it. From the solos, Sua and Dami knocked it out of the park. I surprisingly liked Siyeon's more than I thought I would - I loved Paradise and wanted more like that instead of a "lazy ballad" but there was more to it than that, especially with the concert performance. Props to Yoohyeon too, she hit that concept well. The solos really felt like the members really put themselves into it, and even if I wasn't into some of them I appreciate that they got the chance to do that. I'm torn between Locked Inside a Door and Maison as my favorites off the album. The whole thing is very listenable other than the ballads, which just aren't my thing. Maison slaps, although it could have used maybe a little more of a drop to start the chorus, and maybe a little better separation of the instruments during the finale. Still owns regardless of my quibbles. Beauty Full (Dami's solo track) is absolutely everything to me right now, tho. Channeling the best of Avril and Billie Joe to give me the raging pop punk banger I didn't know I needed so badly in my life.
