Reminds me of Psy's new boy band TNX, that almost debuted including a 13 year old, when everyone else was at least four years older than him. Thankfully they decided to send him back for more training, because I can't see the pressure of idol life being healthy at that age. On the other hand, this "mom said I had to bring my little brother as well" energy would have been funny to see

It's probably part also saving face a bit because she doesn't want to go against the worship the power of pointlessly hard work thing they have going on over there. The follow up sounds like it came from management, but given the entire situation I bet it was "gently caress all these people wilding out over this how do we throw water on it". Like she wasn't trained as an idol and isn't on an idol label. Its basically YMR and TJK running a label for themselves, and then like 4-5 other artists. Most likely, she's been pushing herself really hard because they literally picked her up off of listening to her soundcloud tracks, put a *ton* of faith and promo effort in, and its been paying off hugely. Now she's trying to do a follow-up and that poo poo isn't easy in general, and there is gonna be a ton of self-inflicted pressure for all those reasons. So my rough guess: Major self pressure to produce a follow up hit -> Breakdown -> Fans hunting to crucify label/ymr/tjk -> Crafted message aimed at preventing fans from manufacturing some scandal

She went from being a soundcloud artist, to decently successful but not huge, to suddenly blowing up in Korea and the US and basically being on an idol schedule despite not being one and not having the training for it. It loving sucks, but it doesn't surprise me-- this isn't the kind of fame she necessarily signed up for, but it happened anyway and very, very quickly. It's even harder when you're a solo act. I hope she gets some rest soon. Maybe she can focus on her upcoming TV gig(s? i know she has at least one show coming up she is one of the MCs for) after the album comes out, but who knows tbh. She is lowkey not only supporting herself and her family right now, but the label as well. She is far and away Feel Ghood's most successful act atm. They had been struggling and downsizing their facilities pre-covid. That's a lot of pressure and it could well be coming from herself. Feel Ghood needs to figure out how to handle this level of success, as well, and hopefully her being so open about how loving tired and pissed she has been will be a wake up call for everyone involved. There's no reason to start a witch hunt over this unless things don't begin to improve for her going forward.

Also worth noting that in her follow up live, she doesn't apologize or take back what she said in her emotionally charged one. So I personally don't think it was some crafted statement or apology via management-- she is close with her team and doesn't want them to get any unnecessary hate. She clarified that she has a lot of power over her own schedules and the decisions around her career, so it isn't like she is being forced to do anything.
