the abrupt cut is such a fantastic directorial choice. one of the few one piece anime scenes i tear up watching every time it's crazy thinking about how kin'emon was introduced as this inept comic relief joke character way back in punk hazard and then lands as the raw emotional heart for the whole of wano

In a perfect world OP would be a seasonal anime and all this effort could be put into not trying to make the best of a bad situation but since that’s not happening I’ll take the sick Conquerer’s Haki thunderstorm.

We're on break so I'm just gonna post some One Piece fanart and fanartists till we get a new chapter. さとし【SATOSHI】 does primarily One Piece fanart (with a bit of other shounen) and their stuff tends to give off a "this character is using their special attack for a collectable card" feel, which is dope. Their Pixiv page is SFW (no porn or hent) but it does contain some spoilers for Film Red. Their art generally has minimal coloring, with colors mostly being used for special effects (though there are some full-color pieces), which is a style that I dig a lot. Most of their art seems to be really recent; like, I think they're aiming for like one piece (heh) every day or every other day or something? Considering the tags on their art. Some 100 Day Challenge, which I assume means drawing 1 picture every day for 100 days. They also seem to do art that's like, a part of a piece.
