Very bold of them to release their game in December, where it runs risk of being overlooked for the coveted goon GOTY award. Even I have yet to play it.

I played signalis after seeing it on so many lists. It's pretty cool but the abstract confusing plot didn't do a whole lot for me. I still enjoyed it tho.

Live-A-Live just barely missing the Top 20. Deserves higher but I'll be happy with that. Just garnering so much praise and attention with how old a game it is makes my heart full of warmth. It was so wonderful to watch people experience it for the first time was a joy.

(Rarity's Internet has just died! I am posting 17 for her!) Just between you and me, my lovelies, this is always the hardest part of my job. Every game remaining on our countdown is astounding, oh how I wish they could all be the Game of the Year but such is not our ways and so instead I must inflict misery and despair as the contenders drop away. Here’s another game that has failed to meet the standards required but just which one will it be? Could it be Pokémon Legends Arceus? What about Final Fantasy XIV: Endwalker? Or might it even be Pentiment? This is your #17… Zinkraptor posted:Great writing. el oso posted:What a miracle of a game. imhotep posted:It's just the best game of the year. Thank you, Harry. Thank you, Disco. gently caress the Police.
