There was an english translation that was released but it was really incomplete and glitchy when I tried it. I put it on the psp emulator on my Xbox. The combat and visuals were quite good for a psp game and it was hilariously dark thematically. I had to give up on it though cause it was pretty incomplete and broken.

From what I remember in the very first 15 minutes you- slap the poo poo out of your friend and tell him to gently caress off for being soft, beat a high ranking yakuza member to death while trying to steal from a chinese loanshark and then get put into an underworld baki style fight to the death arena to payback your debt.

i took a big break after finishing kiwami 2 because going through zero, kiwami and kiwami 2 back to back was a lot. time to get into 3 and 4 remastered, but I think I'm going to just blaze through the main story fast.

iirc you unlock the new songs as you advance in the Princess League in the main story but yes it will mostly just be So Much More! anyway. But that’s such a catchy song I never minded.
