Without any supporting evidence, it is just as likely that his source was a team trying to tank his stock. I'd be more likely to trust McShay if someone else had put out similar information. And I don't think today's incident is confirmation of McShay knowing anything since it all happened after he made his statement.

I rate prospects on how much I’d dislike a division rival drafting them. Like, if JSN gets taken by the Bills I think I’ll hate everything because he’s awesome and he’d probably be perfect for them. Or Skoronski with the Patriots. That’s another.

Ryan was a very odd prospect in a way because he did quite a bit with lesser talent around him but actually showed some impressive play action chops in the same way. CJ is physically a much better prospect but hasn’t had to adjust his game for talent disparities the same way, though I have intense faith that he can do so.
