As he probably should lol, those character concerns were before this event happened, and also specifically related to being a teammate, where like everyone seems to have gotten along pretty well with him by reports.

But hey, good on McShay for guessing right lol.
I'm sure Todd McShay is not guessing when he reports that character concerns will crop up with X player. He has sources. The teammate death just reinforces those concerns.

As soon as McShay reported it, there were a bunch of articles showing Jalen Carter doing cool and good poo poo for teammates. The question McShay gave was about work ethic and being a bad teammate, but he's the only place those concerns have come out from.

Without any supporting evidence, it is just as likely that his source was a team trying to tank his stock. I'd be more likely to trust McShay if someone else had put out similar information. And I don't think today's incident is confirmation of McShay knowing anything since it all happened after he made his statement.

A city that was to live by night after the wilderness had passed. A city that was to forge out of steel and blood-red neon its own peculiar wilderness.
The entire draft industrial complex is teams feeding poo poo to insiders who report what they say for scoops on information about the teams.

I rate prospects on how much I’d dislike a division rival drafting them. Like, if JSN gets taken by the Bills I think I’ll hate everything because he’s awesome and he’d probably be perfect for them.

Or Skoronski with the Patriots. That’s another.

Maybe they draft down so much they collect every 7th round pick for 5 years.

Honestly a great fumble dimension would be seeing how a team builds with the entire 7th round to themselves for a few classes but no picks earlier than that.

GreyGhost, is CJ Stroud a better prospect than Matthew "ICE" Ryan was?

They seem similar stylewise except CJ is at least a lil better at most everything (and also more handsome).

Not a bad comparison. Ryan was a very odd prospect in a way because he did quite a bit with lesser talent around him but actually showed some impressive play action chops in the same way. CJ is physically a much better prospect but hasn’t had to adjust his game for talent disparities the same way, though I have intense faith that he can do so.

Packers met with Quentin Johnston today at the combine. Johnston fits the Packers athletic profile so perfectly that I'm surprised he's barely been connected to them until recently.

Fair, looking at mock draftable, he's in the bottom 5% for weight for listed DT's at the combine since '99.

Huh, lightest DT's is a bad list, but fastest DT's has Aaron Donald, Geno Atkins and Fletcher Cox all right near the top...
