I genuinely liked Soyeon's Shake Shack rap and am very open to the idea of a Newjeans Coca-Cola song. Come to think of it I even liked the Girls' Generation 'Visual Dreams' collab with Intel that people seemed to hate, so I guess kpop just does a thing where I suddenly love corporations.

Ad songs are pretty whatever to me, they're usually lacking to some degree (which varies a lot from song to song), but the reality is that the corp is going to have paid a decent chunk of cash to the group/company to do it, and that is just a pure win to me. You get a mid to decent song, the artist you like gets paid and gets exposure. Yeah there's an old head somewhere in the back lines working on the newjeans tracks. ditto also had the scattershot drums and such, though it's a bit slow for a rinseout (i tried) Because did have an amen shot in there tho!

The nursery rhyme thing makes it make more sense but it doesn’t make that part of the song any better. It’s not like the awfulness of Twinkle Twinkle Little Bitch would be made any worse if you weren’t aware of the source material That said I found a version that takes the chorus and replaces it with more prechorus. It’s a little hollow now but I feel like this production and the prechorus especially are gonna lend themselves to remixing.

Its a good track, real nice bass line and solid vocal work, but its more of a continuation of like Dilemma than any sort of throwback to me. I also can't think of anything apink has put out that I'd label as girl crush, or even really close to it.
