It's going to take a hell of a lot of work for me to make the old gravity games snowboard halfpipe and boardercross sets not look like pieces of poo poo compared to that new ski jump/rock wall in this year's winter village. Can't wait for it though!

Wow, those Dreamzzz sets all look really neat. The turtle bus and the giant skating rabbit and the nightmare shark ship are some real highlights. Super fun and creative sets, hope they do more than one wave of it.

I thought it was just an excuse to make some wacky and cool sets. drat I want a lot of those.

I think creator expert cars have been rebranded to Icons. And the most recent addition is the Land Rover Classic Defender 90. Since it just came out, I would imagine it’s going to be awhile before another gets released.

The next round of ideas sets:
Favorites for me are botanical gardens, shiny train, sperm whale, and the geode. But this geode kinda sucks. Comes with a cool hammer tho.

Soryuz too, but no way that gets made in this climate.

there's a lot of bullshit on here but the vintage radio and the moon (earth's companion) are baller sets.

Lol. I agree, but it's a little more bespoke thankfully.

Time Cruisers is more like KFC trying to come up with new menu items to shift surplus ingredients (it's an uncut slab of dinner rolls, stuffed with popcorn chicken and corn chips!)

Eh, last year ICONS saw multiple vehicles - the Vespa in March, the DeLoreon in April, and the Camero in August.
The year before was the Camper, Pickup and Porche.

IMO the Porche or Camper and Camero most closely fit the "creator car" they do annually, and I feel pretty safe assuming the Land Rover is not filling the traditional creator car slot.

Same. To me, whichever one comes out in August is the "creator expert" car. Maybe that's not accurate anymore but I'm still expecting an announcement for one soon.

I guess you could get the instructions for that giant Lego fig and use it as the base to build more custom giant Lego figs..

In other news, I have a good handful of sets I think I would like to sell. I see that Bricklink is the reseller site of choice, but how long do listings tend to stay active before selling there? I have mostly Star Wars Episode 1 sets, does anyone care about those at all? I have all of the set codes:

1822 8050 7141 7127
6898 6899 6829 6264
7130 7155 7150 7166
7180 7140 7144 7128
7134 7146 7150 7101
6829 7121 7124 3439
7111 8000 8001 8237
8002 8858 7131 7106
7104 7115 7151 7186
7184 7161 7190

Almost all of them are in great condition, most of them with boxes and instructions, ad booklets, etc. I haven't put them all together to check, but I believe there are few if any missing pieces. If it's gonna be a bunch of faff and trouble to sell them online, I'll probably just take them to our local BricksAndMinifigs and just sell the lot and/or liquidate some of them into the kids' loose piece bins.

It depends on your price. If you have the lowest price, and are in the US, your stuff will sell relatively quickly. Do a piece count for each of the sets and make sure they are complete.
