Denji has a contract with Pochita to "show me your dreams" and I've honestly been concerned every time Denji says "this is good enough, right?" If Denji stops dreaming of better things then the contract will likely terminate.

I mean we figured out that this is actually a romcom a while ago but bringing two leads together being endgame for an antagonist does not bode well.

I'm not sure they're working together but they're definitely working towards the same sort term goal, take the real Chainsaw Man off the board. They definitely have different motives so I can't see it as anything other than alliance of convenience if they are working together.

This whole chapter is a great call to how Yoshida sees Denji's motivations from when they were driven by Makima and doesn't actually see his growth as a person at all. Just loving brilliant.
