Totally off topic, but I've been meaning to watch Thunderbolt for some time now. Is there an english dub of it and/or a viewing guide somewhere? I have no idea how to navigate all these weird names they've given the OVAs and/or what order they're supposed to come in.

Watch the movies (December Sky, then Bandit Flower), and ignore the OVAs, which are just chopped-up quarter-hour previews of the movies. I believe both movies are dubbed, though I don't know where best to obtain the dubs (other than good ol' piracy).

they're all english dubbed. you just want december sky and then bandit flower, the movies. thunderbolt was released as a series of original net animations and then those were compiled into two movies that have some additional scenes.

Yeah Thunderbolt is one of the few series where I'd recommend the films over the original ONAs. They cleaned up the rougher edges if animation and added extra scenes. Music is also really good. As for dubs I'm not sure if they're legally streaming anywhere at the moment. There's always the chance that they'll come up on the GundamInfo youtube rotation in a few months but outside of that it's either physical or piracy.

It's so funny that this movie seems to have Destiny recap in it. Never change, SEED. Oh, and the vaguest hint of Lacus and Kira on different sides might actually make this somewhat interesting. Who comes out on top in the battle between the two writer's pets?

I'm pretty meh overall on SEED apart from the funny Kira crying and a few of the suit designs so the only thing really catching my eye here are the Hirai character designs and how they translate to 2023 HD animation as opposed to early 2000s digipaint. It's an... interesting mixture. Lips.

Wouldn't really call it hate, the movie being advertised means it's a fresh topic of conversation and all the opinions on both sides are going to come back out. Don't think any series has universal praise even if some are closer than others.
