Bears O-Line might be okay as long as no one gets hurt for the entire season. I still think the D-Line might be garbage.

Kevlar v2.0 posted:Bears O-Line might be okay as long as no one gets hurt for the entire season. I think the D Line will be fine tbh, not spectacular for sure, but far better than last year. Billings/Jones/Dexter/Walker is a group of players who are solid at stopping the run(Dexter based off of his college production). Which was absolutely dire last year. Pass Rush is going to rely on Yannick, and at least one other of the draft picks/young players/FA signings improving/showing pash rush upside, Walker was pretty good last year at this and might be able to be the second pass rusher. But one of the various interior dudes they brought in flashing inside pressure would be massive. Their Defensive Line has gone from one of the worst defensive line units ever assembled to simply below average with some upside plays. Which is a massive improvement over the absolute poo poo show that the line was last year. And I think the back 7 on the could be one of the top like 5-10 units in the league if they stay healthy.

The Bears D is going to be a top 10 unit if anyone other than Yannick can get pressure when he's double teamed. 2 fantastic cover linebackers, good to great secondary, just need to force the ball into the air im hype for their worst to first turnaround

Bears are one of my two main teams I root for but I’m a rob lowe when it comes to this division and have soft spots for all of ‘em. Detroit lovable losers (now spunky!), vikings for being hilariously cursed, and packers because I like history, grew up near the WI border, and while the shareholder thing is silly, still beats having a shithead billionaire, but I repeat myself

The Onion strikes. https://www.theonion.com/justin-fields-praises-receivers-for-running-routes-desp-1850705875 Justin Fields Praises Receivers For Running Routes Despite No Intention To Ever Throw Ball “I tell these guys all the time, thank you for really putting your all into learning the routes and trying to get separation downfield even though you know there’s a zero percent chance I’m going to throw to you,” said Fields, singling out wide receivers Darnell Mooney and Equanimeous St. Brown specifically for really committing to every slant and corner route they’d run during the team’s minicamp even though he never once threw the ball their way.

Looks like the Giants were better on both sides of the ball and it was more even. Both sides should like the practice. Sounds like the lions offense was crisp but had some fumble issues with Gibbs, Monty and St. Brown losing balls. Branch got to play with the 1s against the 1s. He gave up a couple TDs but had a sack and some really nice plays too. Good reps for a rookie. BIg fan of the joint practice.
