Man, it’s gonna suck come Monday when there’s no more waking up with a football match all ready to go, it’s such a nice start to the day.

Good lord, Oz have taken some of the worst free kicks I’ve ever seen today.

Full marks for Sweden, they didn't gently caress around tonight. Tough and hungry all match.

If every long free kick is gonna be poo poo I wonder why they don’t just take short ones. It’s clear that a lot of the players don’t have the technical ability to swing in a good one.

Euro supremacy confirmed, etc.

What’s the next competition the Tillies are in, is there a Euros equivalent down there?

Sweden were clearly the better team, I wonder how much those short turnarounds hurt the Aussies.

Sweden looked like an actually good team. This game left me wondering how Australia made it this far.

I think we just burnt too much energy on the France match, not that was an excuse for allowing 2 walk in goals in vs England

The answer is, mate, because I want to do you slowly. There has to be a bit of sport in this for all of us. In the psychological battle stakes, we are stripped down and ready to go. I want to see those ashen-faced performances; I want more of them. I want to be encouraged. I want to see you squirm.

FIFA are very keen to keep the momentum of women’s football going, so naturally the front runner to host the Asian Cup is ….Saudi Arabia

Fair play to Sweden they were miles better than us tonight, all across the pitch. Honestly I think the France game took such a huge toll mentally and physically, we just haven’t looked like the same team since. And the shorter turnarounds haven’t helped - especially Gustavsson apparently thinks squad rotation is for suckers.

Still incredibly proud of what’s been accomplished, both on the pitch and off of it. Hard to believe australia made a football World Cup semi final!
