I’m playing a game I call Armored Spore right now, where I add a lot of armored plates to my creatures so they are strong and can defeat other creatures in a seamless microscopic to galactic gameplay extravaganza sandbox, more people should be getting in on this.

i played spore once when it came out and ive gotta say i remember it being okay. sort of like a flash game thats a loose collect of minigame types wrapped in the excuse of a story

I jumped from BG3 to running a D&D5E game tonight with friends on discord and roll 20 and it was a hoot and a half, first time I've dmed in years but we had some veterans and newbies and it was a very good session 0! Anyway, back to belly crawling every square inch of the underdark in bg3...

yeah Larian said people played over 1,420,626 years worth of game time in the first weekend and hundreds of people finished it. I'm playing a strength barbarian and I failed two rolls to pull out some random hand sticking out of a portal. Oh well, that's the D20 system! I still like it. Sometimes you just fail, because life is hard even if you're a "pull hard" specialist. Good times.

same, I got to the bugbear/ogre barn scene in the goblin town and had to stop and process some things. I'll be back someday but yeesh I'm surprised that's the stuff in games now, lol. It wasn't offensive or anything but I'm left asking, why? why game, why do this. In the meantime hollow knight is rad as hell.

New IPs, great sequels, everything from Indie stuff to that vaunted AAA stuff, in a ton of different genres. Even a bunch of good remasters/remakes.

i like the part where gale tells the PC that he'll show them how to channel magic or w/e and then your character starts getting uncomfortably close to him throughout the scene until the narrator says it's magically compelling your character to want to gently caress him or something and then he's like "wow and i worked so hard" if it doesn't work some real  poo poo
