I've started rewatching Silent Mobius again, out of some twisted desire to revisit the Tech TV Anime Unleashed anime of my childhood. I'm watching it alongside Abenobashi and The SoulTaker. Honestly, I'm only a few eps in, and it feels like the show gets better once it slows down and starts exploring the characters. It also, weirdly enough for a "All Girls doing stuff" anime, is pretty eager to give female characters love interests and boyfriends. I guess that's the difference between the 90's and our modern, post K-ON post Nahona world. But boy this feels like someone's loving Shadowrun Homebrew.

I'm giving Kill la Kill a go. Mostly because of the intro looked neat and the synopsis sounded cool. Soooo I'm 3 episodes in. Does it get any less pervy? I'm told its supposed to be over the top and all ironic, but man its all the loving time.

Nope, it's a gross pervy show and it's not doing anything ironically, it's all 100% sincere, that's just the cover zorak and other nerds gave it back in the day so they wouldn't get raked over the coals for liking it.
