The '96 Rintaro movie is insanely good looking and sounding but reduces the manga to a series of fights and changes almost every character, the early 2000's tv show is a much better adaptation and is series directed by Yoshiaki Kawajiri but also very much looks like an early 2000's anime.

There's a cool park/walking trail that snakes throughout my part of the city, and near the major fork there are some ponds where I've seen ducks, koi, and even a crane once.
