I'm actually printing a 1:10 scale rx-78-2 and about 75% of the way done. There's going to be some gaps in the armor as I scaled a 1:20 and I'm not looking forward to an eternity of sanding but I have a weirdly specific spot it can fit so I figured why not.

Bandai's made at least five 1/1 scale Gundams. Two grandpas, one that can walk, one Unicorn, one Freedom (in China), and a Nu. And yeah. Having built a Perfect Grade, it's a heck of a thing. Incredibly detailed, about a foot tall, and set up with all kinds of gimmicks. Pretty expensive, but if you've got the cash to spare it's a good centerpiece to a collection.
