my friend got one of those a while back and he says its cool as poo poo but very hard to display, because of the Giant-rear end-Backpack

im pretty sure your best bet is to find a site that resells them like current thread favorite, suruga-ya, or make a friend in a country they DO ship to who will then ship to you.

Suruga-ya seems to have free shipping occasionally, but it's kind of a crapshoot over whether they'll have the model you want in stock, because they're a secondhand reseller. Also everything is machine translated so it can be slightly annoying finding the model you want?

Wait... an oily waxy base? I've got pigment in an oily/waxy base! Color pencils! Hang on a sec I've got to try something...

Damnb

This came out nice. This was already on top of an existing weathering job but it's really easy to put on, just need a sponge/cotton bud or an eraser to move the pigment around once its down. The left leg is without the color pencil work, and the right is just fine edging work with some extra toning. It even does highlights if you have the colors, like on the main body! Rust streaks are super easy, as well as adding minor toning variations

My human, let me tell you the good word of watercolor pencils. What if you had the same qualities, but with a softer medium, plus it was water soluble for when you want to feather something in or remove a fuckup?

Synthbuttrange

:OOOO

Fuckups are already pretty removable with a soft eraser on these but I'll keep an eye out!

Perfect Grade kits are very large. The PG Unleashed needs a handle so you can lug it around like a suitcase.

EDIT: 1/24? Maybe that's the one I'm thinking of.

i know there's ONE 1/1 scale but sadly it does not come in kit form. Due to it costing several million dollars. Tragic.

good night, speedfriend

I'm actually printing a 1:10 scale rx-78-2 and about 75% of the way done. There's going to be some gaps in the armor as I scaled a 1:20 and I'm not looking forward to an eternity of sanding but I have a weirdly specific spot it can fit so I figured why not.

Bandai's made at least five 1/1 scale Gundams. Two grandpas, one that can walk, one Unicorn, one Freedom (in China), and a Nu.

And yeah. Having built a Perfect Grade, it's a heck of a thing. Incredibly detailed, about a foot tall, and set up with all kinds of gimmicks. Pretty expensive, but if you've got the cash to spare it's a good centerpiece to a collection.
