Starting Gushing Over Magical Girls ep1 premise has a lot of potential. though probably missing references to Precure tropes that will probably be thrown around. edit: oh wow, this is lewder than I thought it was gonna be. Thought it would be more wholesome like The Great Jahy Will Not Be Defeated! well the beginning was, but the regular troupe jokes are neat. I like how normal magical girl show the OP is. On the subject of Madoka knockoffs I swear there was at least one show that did the exact same three episode twist even though it wasn't a magical girl series (it might have been a Muv Luv anime?) Of course everyone knew the Madoka twist though so it was just tedious waiting for the real show to start. edit: Attack on Titan knockoffs was probably the funniest wave of anime because they dug deep for every shonen action license to slap a Sawano soundtrack onto. There are a number of fairly normal shows that have aired on the network, but it's also where basically all the super lewd shows air and that is absolutely its reputation. Stuff like Queen's Blade, High School DxD, etc. And also gets all the uncensored versions of shows that otherwise air on other networks.

AT-X is an anime-specific premium channel, they can show nudity since its not broadcast tv so thats the only real case of 'certain types of shows', otherwise everything airs everywhere
