yeah that bit is insane. it's one thing not to care for the material but why make this moral stance about how you won't... let the manga author have an inoffensive joke cameo at the end? overall i do think discotek deserves a hit for this because they're the ones who accepted a deal to get a dub done literally through free labor involving people who turned out to hate the material. not on like, an anti-loc grounds that was just a very stupid idea that worked out about as expected

Not a good look for Discotek, but also holy cow that person is deranged as poo poo. “This is all terrible and only I can fix it!” Did you ever stop to consider people that people like a thing for a reason and you are not the sole arbiter on what is good? Like, it sucks for the cast who put in some work, but this has me not wanting anything to do with watching that dub. I’ll probably still get the Blu-Ray for better picture. If you wanted to give ammo to the “localizers are out to ruin the things I loved” this moron gave them ammunition to use for years. Discotek should probably refuse this on the cheap dub work in the future. Look at a Kickstarter if you want one that badly.
