What a chapter. I genuinely think Fujimoto is the best in the business right now. I didn’t expect this arc to go with Denji abandoning Nayuta to be killed by a mob so that Denji continues to be trapped within cycles of guilt, but it looks like that’s where we’re going. My guess is Denji is in a massive depression but runs into Kobeni (who is now either confident and believes in herself or is even more of a mess) who tells him to just go down to hell to get back Nayuta (and Power). But before that it looks like we finally get more Denji backstory!

the control devil's plan (destroy his sense of normalcy by building and taking away his family) finally came to fruition with the loss of the control devil here a second time as nayuta. the control devil isn't needed anymore anyways because denji's telling himself the narrative she was previously pushing. seems like the only thing left to do is become chainsaw man in a bad and hosed up hero of hell way
